History

The “Mordechai Lalo” house known as the “New Post Office” was built in 1930, initiated by Zvi Strachilevich, one of the first builder-developer of Tel - Aviv. House designed in the eclectic style, by legendary Architect Yehuda Magidovich, leading architect of Tel-Aviv. The post office’s entrance was which faced the front Allenby Street, then private mailboxes was in the rear, De Pijoto Street – the entrance of the club today.
